SMITH, Wilfred Cantwell
(1916-)
   Canadian scholar of ISLAM and the HISTORY of RELIGION who is a prominent figure in RELIGIOUS STUDIES. His works include Modern Islam in India (1943) and Questions of Religious Truth (1967).
