DUKKHA

DUKKHA
(Pali) or DUHKHA (Sanskrit)
   one of the three characteristic marks of EXISTENCE in BUDDHISM. It is usually translated "suffering" but this should be understood as a radical suffering which characterizes the whole of existence.
